Artist Statement

“It all begins with witnessing a stunning scene. Maybe I want to use my acrylics to paint the ocean shining like jewels; maybe I want to use my soft pastels to draw the sky striking the balance between pale & vibrant colors. Grabbing my paintbrush while inhaling the pure intoxicating scent of the sun, sand & sea. Whatever I desire, whenever I’m intrigued, wherever I am, I capture that sparkling image that we call the phenomenon of Mother Nature onto canvas.”

“ I Painted LIVE at an easel at Cafe Tu Tu Tango for (5) wildly, successful years in Miami. Worked 3 shifts a week while dancing to spanish music, mingling with dining guests and enjoying being a part of something magical. Customers & Celebrities were bringing me wine & dinner and literally buying my wet paintings right off of my easel. Cafe Tu Tu Tango was a special time in my life; will always be in my heart & cannot be duplicated.”

“One night, while I was covered in oil paints, on my clothes and my face, some people eating dinner in the restaurant who happened to be in the talent industry suggested I try Modeling. Two weeks later I got signed by my first Modeling Agency, and alongside me being an Artist, have been Modeling professionally for 20 yrs”
